IS

A REMODELING OF A DINING ROOM AND A GUEST ROOM.

WE OPTED FOR A LARGE OAK BOOKCASE ALONG THE ENTIRE HEIGHT, FILLING THE EXISTING CHIMNEY ON BOTH SIDES. THEIR LOCATION AND DESIGN MAKE THE CLOSED STORAGE SPACES MORE DISCREET WHILE THE SHELVES ARE ACCENTED BY RAW STEEL INSERTS, ALLOWING BOOKS AND DECORATIVE ITEMS TO BE ENHANCED.

FOR THE SECOND PHASE, WE WORKED ON THE LAYOUT OF THE GUESTROOM. THE CHALLENGE WAS TO INTEGRATE A TRUNDLE BED, A STORAGE, A WARDROBE AND A SMALL DESK. GIVEN THE NARROWNESS OF THE ROOM, WE INSERTED THE BED INTO A CUSTOM CABINET. A RADIATOR COVER HAS BEEN CREATED FOR PRACTICAL USE OF THE RADIATOR. THE BIRCH MULTIPLEX IS CHOSEN FOR ITS BRIGHTNESS.

AS FOR THE DESK CORNER, WE CAME OUT WITH A FOLDING TABLET TO BE ABLE TO PUT A LAPTOP ON. THE WARDROBE AND ITS SIDES ARE LACQUERED.
